Every week I read a large number of personal finance and investing articles. Here’s my latest weekly shortcut to the best.
So how is the market rally going for you? Being almost 100% invested after repeatedly buying through the bear market [1], like anyone invested I’ve seen a big bounce. Not so much that it wouldn’t have been better to cash out in late 2007, of course, but hindsight is a wonderful thing!
That said, I’m pretty pleased with the timing of my post saying that if you weren’t investing then [2] into the March lows, when would you buy?
If that turns out to be the bottom, that post will be a small consolation. I’d genuinely prefer equities to stay low for years. Cheap prices are the best way to build up future wealth [3] if you’re adding money to your portfolio.
So is this a “dash to trash” or a new bull market? I suspect the latter, but I’d prefer the former!
